Bass Player
Life In The Pocket

I have been playing Bass since I was a child. My mother owned a night club in the 60's called the Ebony Lounge. There was a band that played there called The Amazers, they had a Bass player named Willie Weeks. Watching Willie play is what made me become a player.

My style of playing is the groove. I'm a pocket player, in your face groover. I have worked with many bands as well as being a band leader and musical director (MD). I have worked with Billy Holloman, Morris Wilson, Cynthia Johnson, Westside, The Rock Steady Band, The Lewis Connection, The Enterprise Band of Pleasure, Touch, Off Da Hook, Paid N Full, to name a few. Nationally I have worked with Rocky Robbins, Sheila Raye Charles, and The Brothers Johnson. I am now blessed to be playing with some good friends and Great musicians The Jam Factory! Two things I would like for you to remember:  (The Groove is Everything and Everything Must Groove) and (Whats an ever I Play, It Got To Be Funky)
